Boys and Their Toys

It's been an eventful weekend and for that reason I will make this brief as the sooner I finish up the sooner I can get some rest. Damir is turning 25 tomorrow...on the 25th! I think 25 was my ideal age. Not too young that you feel immature, but not old enough that you feel like you're aging either.

Anyways, making cakes for guys is usually a bit more challenging as they tend to have unique interests to try and play off of such as riding motorcycles and fishing. However, lucky for me Damir loves his XBOX360 so I didn't have to work too hard to come up with an idea for his cake.

I don't own an XBOX360, nor have I ever played one so attempting to recreate the game console was interesting in the sense that I had to try and piece together the look from random photos I found online. All in all, I think it works - although the photo doesn't seem to do this cake any justice. Everything on this cake was edible including the game cases which used edible ink for the labels.
