Simply Stated

One of my couples this summer chose cupcakes for their wedding (yes - more cupcakes!) and over the past couple of weeks we've been working to finalize and tweak the design and set-up of their display.

As a final stage of preparation I worked on two decorated samples for them to review. This is the first time I've decorated a cupcake entirely in fondant and the results were fantastic! I LOVE the way these look.

The couple wanted something simple with white being the predominate colour and silver being used as an accent. They're also using some pink in their decor so I combined all three to get these beauties. I was so impressed with the flower cutter I used here that I ended up using these flowers on my last order as well!

Anyways, one of the cupcakes was embossed while the other remained smooth. Personally I like the embossed version, but both are equally nice. Combined together they'd make a gorgeous display. Definitely looking forward to the finished product for this event!
